Contact tool. The message builder on our contact page runs entirely in your browser. What you type is not transmitted to us by the page.

Emails. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write.

Why we use it

We use emails to reply to you, which is our legitimate interest in answering reader questions. We use server logs for security and to keep the site running. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

How long we keep it

We keep email correspondence for no longer than 24 months unless the law requires longer. Server logs are kept for a short period set by our hosting provider.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We use hosting and email providers that process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements. We may disclose data if the law requires it.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to access, correct, erase or restrict your data, to object to processing, and to request portability. Email us and we will respond within one month. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Children

This site is a general guide for students and their parents. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
